New Projects Boosting Sugar Land Expenditures

Jul 29, 2016

New park facilities will factor into Sugar Land's budget planning for fiscal 2017, with spending projected to rise by 10 percent from this year. Much of the proposed spending increase stems from recently annexed Cullinan Park and expansion of Brazos River Park and an adjacent festival site. Those additions have increased the city's daily operating costs. The expanded park and festival site is scheduled to open this fall. For more information, visit here.
